Appello Shortlisted in Three Categories at UKCCF Awards 2023

We are thrilled to share the fantastic news that Appello has been selected as a finalist in not one, but three highly coveted categories at the prestigious UK Contact Centre Forum (UKCCF) awards! Our shortlisting’s include Best Use of Technology, Home Agent Operation of the Year, and Manager of the Year. This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation.

Best Use of Technology

Appello’s implementation of CareNet EVO, our innovative call handling platform, has been recognised for its incredible impact in improving the support our operators provide to vulnerable and elderly end users. CareNet EVO ensures that calls are presented to the most appropriate trained operator, equipped with all the necessary information to deliver the right care.

Developed in-house, CareNet EVO is the first call handling platform specifically designed for the UK’s upgrade to a digital telecoms network, with backward capabilities to monitor older legacy analogue equipment.

Home Agent Operation of the Year

Appello’s Home Agent Operation has been acknowledged for the outstanding support they provide to end users by ensuring the safety and wellbeing of some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. In the past calendar year alone, the Home Agent Operation handled approximately 4 million alarm calls.

Manager of the Year

Dave Kinane, Customer Services Manager for Appello’s out of hours team for emergency repairs, has been shortlisted for Manager of the Year. Under Dave’s leadership, the team has undergone a remarkable transformation in their call answering performance, leading to greater employee and customer satisfaction.
