Appello have become one of the first national TECS monitoring centre to become certified to the new Quality Standards Framework (QSF) set by industry body, TSA.
Launched in late 2017, TSA worked with a number of governing bodies and national TEC organisations to develop the QSF and ensure it met all commissioning standards. Following the launch the Department of Health has now urged TEC commissioners to procure services only from QSF-accredited providers.
Appello were keen to ensure they adhered to the new industry standards, recognising the importance to both the their service and commissioners.
The clear strategic vision, and strong focus on a person-centred approach were highlighted by the audit as great achievements for Appello, who continue to lead the way in TECS monitoring – supporting over 180,000 people across the UK. Furthermore the audit report commended the advancements Appello has made in digital TECS.
