How to Make a Social Call on Your Tablet

Your tablet allows you to make social calls with neighbours in your building. Follow the steps below to get started.

Making a Social Call

1. On the Home Screen, tap the purple “Call a Neighbour” button.
2. A list of available apartments will appear on the screen.
3. Find the apartment you would like to contact.
4. Tap the apartment number.
5. Tap the Call button located beneath the apartment number.
6. Your tablet will begin calling your neighbor.

During the Call

1. Once your neighbor answers, the connection screen will appear.
2. To start a video call, tap the Camera button.
   • The button turns green when the camera is on.
   • Tap the button again to turn the camera off.
3. To mute or unmute your microphone, tap the Microphone button.
   • Green means the microphone is on.
   • White means the microphone is muted.

Ending the Call

1. When your conversation is finished, tap the End Call button to hang up.

Receiving a Call from a Neighbor

• If a neighbor calls you, an incoming call screen will appear.
• Choose one of the following options:
  • Tap Answer to accept the call.
  • Tap Ignore to decline the call.
