Appello are thrilled to have won Best Use of Technology at the UK Contact Centre Forum (UKCCF) awards for our fully digital, cloud-based call handling platform, CareNet EVO, the next generation from our original call handling platform CareNet, which also won Best Use of Technology in 2019.
CareNet EVO enables emergency calls from alarm devices within housing properties across the UK, to reach an operator within one of our monitoring centres. It is the first call handling platform designed specifically for the UK’s upgrade to a digital telecoms network, with backward capabilities to monitor older legacy analogue equipment.

Built on a foundation and infrastructure of market-leading cloud services including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Genesys PureCloud, CareNet EVO offers Appello undisputed security, stability, scalability and flexibility.
CareNet EVO, has enabled Appello and other monitoring centres across the UK who utilise the platform to deliver their digital telecare strategy. Furthermore, the platform has enhanced service, through the implementation of a dynamic User Interface (UI). Operators are able to access important information relating to the call more quickly. This has resulted in improvements in the call experience and a reduction in call handling times which leads to services users accessing the emergency support they require more efficiently.
